By downloading or using CleanCache, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. CleanCache is made by Md. Touhidul Islam (“we”).

Using the app

• You may use CleanCache on Macs you own or control. If you got it from the Mac App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
• You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, try to extract its source code, or make derivative versions of it.
• The app, its name, logo and all related intellectual property rights belong to Md. Touhidul Islam.

Cleaning and deleting files

CleanCache shows you what it found and only removes items you select and confirm. Where possible, items are moved to the Trash so you can restore them. You are responsible for reviewing what you remove, and for keeping backups of important data (for example with Time Machine). We are not liable for data lost because of files you chose to delete.

Changes and charges

We may change, improve or remove features at any time. We may also charge for the app or some of its features in the future, but we will never charge you without making it clear exactly what you are paying for.

Privacy and third-party services

How the app and this website handle data is described in our privacy policy. The app uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Cloud Messaging and Realtime Database), which has its own terms of service.

Internet connection

Scanning and cleaning work offline. Some features, such as update notices, notifications and sending feedback, need an internet connection. We are not responsible for those features not working without one.

Updates and availability

We may release updates, and system requirements may change. We don’t promise to keep the app compatible with every macOS version. We may stop offering the app at any time; if that happens, the rights these terms give you end and you should stop using the app.

No warranty and limitation of liability

CleanCache is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties and are not liable for any direct or indirect loss resulting from using or being unable to use the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
