Installing the DMG

Open the DMG
Double-click CleanCache.dmg in your Downloads folder.

Drag to Applications
Drag the CleanCache icon onto the Applications folder in the window that opens.

Open CleanCache
Start it from Applications or Launchpad. You can then eject the CleanCache disk and delete the DMG.

Which version should I choose?
Both are the same app. Pick the Mac App Store if you want updates to install automatically. Pick the DMG if you prefer installing apps directly or can't use the App Store.
Is the DMG safe to open?
Yes. It is signed with the developer's Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS checks it before it opens. You won't need to change any security settings.
How do I update the DMG version?
CleanCache shows a small “Update” bar in its window when a new version is available. Click it, download the new DMG and drag the app to Applications again to replace the old one.
